Fragrant patchouli was once used to scent Indian fabrics and keep them safe from moths. These days, the odour-masking, pest-repellent properties of the oil make it a popular household choice. Patchouli’s deep cleansing abilities make it ideal for skin, as do its regenerative, irritation-soothing properties. The oil is also said to balance mood and is even used as an aphrodisiac.
This 100% pure Patchouli (Indonesian) essential oil has a smoky, earthy scent with a sweet muskiness. This oil is of the more widely used Indonesian variety.
Combine 5-7 drops of the oil with water and add to an oil burner or diffuser or just add several drops to your bath water.
